WASHABLE LEATHER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Before and after each wash, run an empty cycle to remove any detergent residue from the drum.

Use a very small amount of soft liquid gentle detergent and pour it into the drawer of the machine (not directly into the drum).

Wash your leather alone, right side up on the delicate program, short cycle. Temperature: Cold or 30°C maximum.

At the end of the cycle, remove your garment immediately from the drum. Then lay flat to dry on a towel.

Ironing: On the reverse side (cotton side of fabric), with no steam, press the smooth fabric.

  • TO PROTECT THE LAMBSKIN LEATHER GARMENT, USE CADILLAC SELECT PREMIUM WATER REPELLANT AND STAIN PROTECTOR.

GREAT FOR USE WITH LEATHER AND SUEDE.

IF YOU USE THE CADILLAC SELECT SPRAY, MAKE SURE IT HAS DRIED COMPLETELY BEFORE WEARING YOUR LEATHER PIECE.

FOR BEST USE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOTTLE.

FOR BEST UPKEEP OF THE CONDITION OF YOUR GARMENT SPRAY THE GARMENT EVERY FEW MONTHS.

  • With each wash and depending on its base color, your garment could fade somewhat.

Bright colored leathers and pigmented leathers are more subjected to fading with each wash.

  • Do not use detergent powders, capsules or tablets (only liquid detergent).

Never soak your leather in the drum of the machine, take it out immediately at the end of the cycle.

Never hang up your wet garment while it is drying, as this may cause it to become deformed.

Never use bleach or allow your leather garment to come into contact, even minimally, with traces of bleach either during washing or drying.

Do not expose your leather to prolonged sunlight.

Do not wash your KZ_K piece by hand. Do not soak it.

  • In case of a grease stain, APPLY BAKING SODA TO THE STAIN AND LET ABSORB BY PRESSING THE BAKING SODA INTO THE STAIN. AFTER LETTING BAKING SODA ABSORB THE GREASE, USE CLEAN AND GENTLE WASH AND WATER TO SPOT CLEAN THE AREA.

In case of a wine stain, dab with colorless paper towels until you have absorbed as much wine as possible, then machine WASH.

If there is an ink or felt-tip stain, erase (gently) the stained surface WITH A WHITE ART ERASER (STAEDTLER OR PENTEL BLOCK ERASER).

  • ONLY USE A SMALL NAIL SIZE AMOUNT OF WASHING DETERGENT. In case of color or white marks after washing, rewash your garment without detergent. Note that if these marks are due to bleach residue in your drum or if you used too much detergent during the wash, these white marks will unfortunately not come off.

  • Brightly colored and highly pigmented leathers CAN bleed WITH HIGH AMOUNTS OF SWEAT OR MOISTURE. As a precaution, avoid contact between your leather item and any light colored fabric.
